Oxy Affinity Groups are communities created around a shared identity to provide opportunities for networking, professional or personal development, lifelong learning, resource sharing, and an expanded sense of community.
SLICE is committed to providing programs, resources, and spaces wherein students feel safe, valued, informed, and connected.Ìý
Programming with Purpose
SLICE produces programmingÌýthat cultivates leadership development, social justice, and a sense of belonging. With programming partners, student service providers, and the greater Oxy community, we challenge students to connect learning with meaningful and reciprocal experiences outside of the classroom. Together, we support student development and help create a strong commitment to equity, inclusion and a life devoted to the public good.
Though the following programs are representative of SLICE initiatives and collaborations, this list is not all-encompassing. Event details are subject to change. Follow us on Instagram to receive important updates and announcements.
Cultural Clubs and Organizations
SLICE also supports Oxy's cultural clubs, providing advisement,Ìýevent planning workshops, funding, and resources. Though the list below may not be all encompassing, it is a representation of student interests and identities.ÌýIf you would like to learn more about how to start a club on campus, visitÌýwww.oxy.edu/student-life/clubs-organizations
